*Disclaimer: This is my first story I have made complete in nearly 6 years! I'm proud to present to you, what I've been wanting to make ever since the day (the Dawn) of Resident Evil shined upon me with horror-filled Joy... Over 13 years ago, if I'm not mistaken... Enjoy!
Brad Vickers' Second Witness Int. Report
July 26th 1998
"I couldn't take the built-up fear that night," Alpha Team's Pilot and Rear Security, Bradley Vickers stated in his eye-witness account of Joseph Frost's death. "I tried to fight my fears, but it was just... too much... I just flown away!" Brad trails off topic, "Sorry, I just can't take the pressure... Would I re-live that night, that morning? Any of it? No, Absolutely not!" Brad Leaves, and requested to never be Interrigated again.

Dammit, Why do they insult my intelligence!? I have to live with that punk Joseph next door to my flat day by day, taunting me with that irritable rubber chicken! But today just bites it! I found a goddamn rubber chicken in my locker today, complete with a automatic squeaker, nearly gave me a heart attack!
"Chicken Heart" if I ever find that b*****d who gave me that nickname, Chris Redfield...
Or was it that Joseph Frost?
Either way, I hope they give it a rest, prefferably soon.
I didn't mean to run away those times in need, I guess this is why Barry and Jill became extra Rear Security officers recently.
Why wont the torment stop? I ask, I plead, I even BEGGED Wesker to NOT promote Joseph! He won't be promoted until July 1st... I'm the only type of mechanic we need, Aren't I?
He still torments me with that damn rubber chicken, why the hell is he being promoted for that!?!
Found out we needed a "4-wheeling" mechanic, to balance out the team's fortitudes... Bah!
Oh, I'm also intrigued with the increase of reports that I'm recieving on my radio transmission board.
Strange happenings and occurances of unusual behavior in the Arklay Mountain ranges, I'll report this to Wesker after I make a personal check-up on the H-1040 (Alpha's Chopper, my chopper).
The Jokers finally stopped with the silly screw-arounds, I see with all of these mysterious reportings and weird calls from the locals and outskirts, the team finally realizes the dire situation, hell even the park rangers of nearby mountains were seeing something strange out there.
Where would they be without my radio board in the S.T.A.R.S. office? Ha Ha!
I've triangulated most of these radioed disturbances (Dammit, I cant keep up with all of this talking of the distress signals) and they all surround the abandoned rail road tracks (which were later identified as Eclipse Express rails) and some mansion closeby.
I don't trust Wesker, with his darkened demeanor, and lack of influence as a leader for a top-leading Umbrella enforcement agency.
I think Barry should hear my findings, first.
June 30th (missing File, added)
I Noticed the cables were cut for the downward propeller rotor mechanism, you know, for a helicopter to land properly. I wonder who (or what) could have done this to Bravo's Heli'?
I just replaced the cables, hopefully that'll stay put for now.
Edward saw me "tampering" (as he so kindly put it) with the L-1042, Bravo's Chopper. He yelled at me, and said he'd report this to Marini.
Sheesh, what grouch, I suppose I'd act the same way if I saw Him "tamper" with my helicopter, but then again, I'm slightly more reasonable.
July 1st (missing File, added)
One hell of a day to start this month off, I get a call from Wesker to meet in the Office earlier this morning.
And who would have guessed was standing besides Wesker, Dewey and Bravo's Captain, Marini.
I had an ear full from Both of the captains', on how to "treat our equipment with safety," Goddammit! Has the whole world stopped suddenly to realize how much of a bother I am to the team's welfare? Give me a break, I saved Bravo's asses!
I guess being loyal isn't too astounding for me, I'm well off keeping my nickname in check...
No! Screw you Edward Dewey, you won't screw me out of my position as Alpha's Helicopter pilot!
Oh, and there's still more radio transmissions of distress, it's getting closer to this "Spencer" estate, at a slow rate, it seems (it could be the Eclipse Express Train). I'm surprised we hadn't Investigated this matter sooner.
Damn Wesker and his simplicity.
Again, Wesker is not the guy to talk to about this sort of thing, Barry is almost following his example... But I'll still let him know of this finding, I mean, who else can I trust this Intel to?
My hand hurts from writing so much, but it keeps my mind at ease, thank you Journal!
What a party!
I never knew that my team were actually nice people, we had a few beers (I drank Coke, Liqour is bad) and watched the fireworks.
But returning to work today felt like a black friday, so many calls and recordings of these terroristic actions of these cannibalistic murder cases...
isn't there another agency they could bother? like pest control? no, seriously!
July 5th (missing half of page recovered from Wesker's Desk)
The cables from the L-1042 were snapped again? This time, I'll let mister big shot Dewey handle it, I can afford another meeting on "Equipment Safety."
On second thought, I'll let him know anyway.
I saw Wesker nearby the helicopter hanger earlier today, could he be...?
I'll speak to Marini on this, I'm sure he'll look into it, seeing how he hates Wesker (at a healthy level).
July 10th (missing File, added)
An unusual cold morning today. Official Photography group, some team of dark room nuts, insisted on an official shooting later today, in front of the H-4019 (R.P.D.'s 2nd operatable helicopter) for a group photograph to initiate our "Public Image."
Everyone forced their smiles, it was cold...
I hate middle-of-the-night Briefings, I absolutely Hate them. On top of that, Chris's bike broke down, so he called me for a lift.
I hated this night already, and his jokes got old months ago.
A new member Joins the S.T.A.R.S. branch of Raccoon City Police, I didnt get a chance to meet the young woman yet....
Rebecca Chambers, Rear Security, Field Medic and Chemical Analyst.
I found this photo of her University Days, sitting untop of Weskers' Desk. I stuffed it back inside Weskers' desk just as Chris, Rebecca and Jill returned from lunch, hoping they didn't see me do so...
I hid the photo deep in his desk, not even if Wesker himself searches the desk 49 times over for it, no one will find it!
I'm a clever hider.
July 23rd (Eve of Resident Evil 0)
Another briefing, This time it got serious. We recieved photographic evidence of these mysterious creatures, they looked like plain dogs from the angle of the photos were taken, beautiful mountain sides in the daylight, I say.
Maybe a Hike someday after this whole mess is resolved.
Bravo Team is to leave almost immediately, to investigate the latest call, this one's near a Mansion (Spencer Estate) location just south west of here, 25 minute heli-flight.
Wesker shot me a look of distrust as he escorted the team to the helipad, what is he up to?
I hope Captain Marini remembers the talk we had on Wesker...
Chambers, what an ambitious young woman, I wish I had her courage and enthusiasm. She decided to volunteer her services with the Bravo Team's exhibition, tonight. Wesker ordered her to stay behind, but Marini, the crazy leader he is of the group, welcomed her to the mission.
God Speed, fellow Members...
July 24th (Eve of the Mansion's Discovery RE1) (Brad's Mission Log)
It's been nearly 20 hours since we made contact with Bravo's Richard Aiken, Radio communications. (6:26pm)
Here we are, moment of truth, I'm waiting for the rest of the team to assemble their gear. Dammit, I hate this feeling I'm sensing. Tonight feels like a bad night. Oh well, enough writing, time to Fly! With the glory of victorious teamship! (7:11pm)
We landed exactly where the Bravo's last transmission was recieved. The group of Jokers left me in the helicopter to "keep watch" over the helicopter. Shoot, not even ten minutes after we lifted, they already started to take bets on whether I would "chicken out" like the time they thought I did our last Assignment. (7:31pm)
Dammit, I hate that Nickname.
Waiting for the team to check in, I know it's only been been 5 minutes, but it's pretty dark out here in the Arklay Forest, hearing these distant noises, these god awful growlings...
What the hell were those creatures!? Those, Things! They looked like dogs, I couldn't tell... I re-landed back at the rendevous, hope the team will forgive me and my wreckless actions, please, I hope they're still alright. I'm going to take a look around and see where they've gone... (9:04pm) ~Bradley V.

Arklay's Forest(9:05pm) (Brad's perspective and personal quotes, later recalled)
Brad gets out of his helicopter, foolish enough to kill the engines, to survey the area where he last left his comrades. He investigates Bravo's Helicopter, only to leave immediately after entering it, he became sick. Minutes after surveying the drop nearby, he discovers Joseph Frost, the Alpha Teams' vehical maintainence member, 30-40 minutes after his initial mauling by the cerberus dogs. After releasing his built-up "retractions" he manages to heft Joseph's body back to his helicopter. He attempts to radio the remaining team members [of Alpha and Bravo] as quoted:
"Ok... My coordinants are as follows... Damn Fog!.. thirty seven, sixty degrees north and one hundred an four-fifty three degrees west. Please, let me know you jokers exist, over!"
Brad continued to wait for only 6 minutes before hopping inside to power up the prop' engines and light gear because of a noise he heard close by. He flees the field, with Bravo's helicopter nearby in the open, and leaves the forest once again. He says his [Classified Notification] over the radio, as quoted:
"I'm returning back to H-Q, to return... Frost, he's not looking too... lively. Over!
Brad continued his path towards the outskirts of Raccoon City, 11 minutes into the flight, thus leaving the transmissionable range of the CB Radios Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield (whom eventually) carried.
"If anyone can hear me, I'm returning to base to evac a fallen comrade, I repeat. Returning to H-Q to bring Joseph home! Over! - Dammit, isn't this thing on!? it's fricken broken to s***!" Brad stops his transmissions once the streets of Raccoon City were viewable. He locks Joseph Frost inside the heli-pads' storage locker, skipping the helicopter's secondary check-up all together, then leaves for his teams' safety.

Brad Vickers, Rear Security and S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team's Pilot, Rescued four members of Raccoon Police Departments' finest members of Special Tactics and Rescue Squad anti-terroristic threat organization. Including: Jill Valentine of the Alpha Team. Chris Redfield of the Alpha Team. Rebecca Chambers of the Bravo Team. & Barry Burton of the Alpha Team.

S.T.A.R.S. Office(7:40am) (Pic above) (Brad Vicker's description and personal thoughts, later recorded)
Brad left his comrades, Rebecca and Barry, in the office to fill out their reports of the incident as he went to the Helipad. Chris and Jill felt it was justice to tell the horrendous night in person, with the mighty chief. As he passes the doorway by the chief's corridor, he could hear chief hollering at the Alpha members of S.T.A.R.S. more or less, at Chris.
Those two never got along, I would often laugh at Chris's Jokes, when they're not directed towards me for a change, but for Chief Irons to feed fuel to Chris's ambitious fire, I'm honest to say that I don't care much for Irons, but he is in charge. I'll decide whether to leave or stay once I get the hang of things, the whole team is deciding on leaving this town... but I'm so uncertain about this.
Brad continued around the hall towards the Helipad, only to find the door is missing. He sees a bloody heep of clothes and uniform stumble through the doorway.
The former Alpha team member, the once cheerful and curious prankster as Brad and the whole team knew, was gone. Brad was never this scared in all of his life, seeing someone with so much extreme injuries, and still live. Instinctively (and predictably), Brad runs. He runs back to the S.T.A.R.S. office.

Brad Vickers' First Witness Int. Report
July 25th 1998
"Joseph, He just arose from the dead..." Bradley Vickers recalls from his shocking memory, Hours after returning from the Mansion's Escape, "He just... Arose! I-I-I... cannot believe it. Could Not believe it... After I went to retrieve his body, he.... He chased me down the second floors' corridor lobby, I struggled to get by some of the unlucky passerby officers to befallen his path. And then he rips through the doors, he was chasing only ME down! WHY!? ... Once I came in the room, he tore the door of it's Hinges! Barry, oh thank god he was there. I saw joseph in his final hour, I saw his white eyes... then it all exploded. A direct head pointed shot. ... I was in charge of cleaning the mess, Joseph's body. Jill helped me out, I'm not sure whether it was for me, or if it was for him... I'm sorry, let's stop this interval, Officer Branagh." Brad leaves the room and walks back to his quarters.
(Ending Witness Interrigation Report, Schedualed Tomorrow, same time)
I really love this pic, and how the story turned out!
It took me all day, racking my brains up in front of the screen to get the smaller details to fit with the actual plot line of RE1
My favourite character is a tie between Joseph Frost and Barry Burton, Brad Vickers is a close second.
This is mostly a story of How Joseph Frost got to the S.T.A.R.S. office, if ya couldn't tell while reading the fictional.
This whole thing takes place right after the RE1 event, escaping the Arklay Mansion's explosion and all that jazz. This is just a fictional story I came up with on the fly, Hope it intrigues any RE fan out there. I dont expect alot of crazy Fave's off of this, but it's my official Fan Fic of the Resident Evil universe as I see it.

Yes. My fave pic of this is the completed, stand-alone Joseph, where you can see Autumn has hit Raccoon City pretty earlier than usual (since this picture's setting takes place sometime in July). Thanks so much! there's chalk-full of references in this pic, prolly the most I've ever done. The Story was a fun Fanfic I thought up on the spot of posting the pic.
